TFTC: Empowered & Connected, a mini-conference

TFTC: Empowered & Connected, a mini-conference brings together TFTC participants past, present and future in a space of belonging and connection.
Through expert facilitation, attendees will develop skills in networking, confidence-building and values-led decision making, whilst connecting with each other in a meaningful and authentic way.
This mini-conference provides an opportunity for attendees to meet, learn and grow together, and leave feeling empowered as they step into the next stage of their careers.

The conference will include talks on the following topics:

Networking

GROUP SESSION

This session will transform how we think about networking. We delve into the science behind sameness and explore how we can find our tribe in the most unlikely of places. Noisy, fun and interactive, this session will get us up and out of our seats and leave us motivated to find our very own ‘Board of Directors’.

Belonging

BREAKOUT SESSION #1

In this breakout session, we explore why we are so quick to assume we don’t belong. Understanding the universality of Imposter Syndrome – and how we can make it work for us – will leave us feeling empowered to stay true to who we really are.

Personal values

BREAKOUT SESSION #2

We define our personal values in this breakout session. As we reflect on what really matters to us, we learn how to clearly articulate this to others. We will leave the session equipped with our very own set of guiding principles, a blueprint over which career decisions can be mapped.
